Federico Zonca founded the company Happy Vision in order to implement the ideas gained from his personal experience of the visually impaired and to publicise this to as wide an audience as possible.

In February 2003 he was awarded the "Rotary International prize for professionalism" by Distretto 2040 Rotary Italia for his tactile map patent and for the activities that he carries out through Happy Vision.
The legal representative of Happy Vision is Federico Zonca, who was born in Bergamo in 1969 and has suffered from retinitis pigmentosa since the age of six.

He graduated in optics at the age of eighteen and subsequently worked in the family optical company despite the illness that rendered him blind, addressing in particular aids for the blind and partially sighted.

In the field of sports he has practised judo, skiing and sailing at a competitive level. He is also a member and promoter of the association "Homerus - autonomous sailing for the blind", a sport that he presented to the Paralympic Games in Sydney 2000, so that it might become known worldwide and which was ultimately approved for subsequent Olympic editions.
